Book Bricks Are Now in a Storefront!
A little milestone I did not see coming
If you had told me when I started painting book bricks that they would end up on the shelves of a shop in Frankenmuth, I probably would have laughed.
This whole project started as something small. Just a creative way to reuse old bricks and build a garden border that felt a little more like me. Something bookish, colorful, and a little unexpected.
But over the past few months, it has turned into something so much bigger. And now, for the first time, you can actually shop these book bricks in person.
Where to Find Them
I am so excited to officially share that my painted book bricks are now available at Saturday Mornings Shoppe.
If you are local to Michigan or planning a trip to Frankenmuth, you can stop in and see them up close, which honestly feels surreal to say.
The Trip to Frankenmuth
Dropping these off felt like a full circle moment.
Packing them up, driving out to Frankenmuth, and walking into the shop with a dolly and a bin full of something I made by hand was one of those moments you want to pause for.
The Display
Seeing the display set up in the shop was probably my favorite part.
They are grouped together in a way that really lets each design stand out, but still feel like part of a collection. The colors, the gold detailing, the little scenes on each one all come together in such a fun way. It is one thing to see them one at a time at home. It is another thing entirely to see them as a full lineup.
Thank You for Supporting Me
I really do not take this lightly. Every like, comment, message, and order has played a part in getting to this point. The fact that something I started for fun is now sitting in a local shop is because people chose to support it.
So thank you. Thank you for following along, for sharing, for encouraging, and for shopping small.
Shopping Local (and Online)
If you are near Frankenmuth, MI, I would absolutely love for you to stop by Saturday Mornings Shoppe and see them in person.
If you are not somewhat local, I will still be sharing updates, new designs, and future availability online as I continue building out this collection.
And if you are feeling inspired to try your own, I still have all of my go-to painting supplies linked here.
